What You're Joining
Brain Wave Collective LCA is a new approach to innovation and collaboration. As a Community Member, you'll gain access to our network of builders, researchers, and innovators. We are thrilled to have you help shape our evolving policies and structure as we build within the collective and learn more about what works best for our members.
Your Rights as Community Member
- Participate in community events, discussions, and networking opportunities
- Access community resources and information sharing
- Vote on matters designated for community input
- Be considered for contributing memberships
- Withdraw from membership at any time with notice
Your Responsibilities

Respect the community: Treat other members professionally and support the cooperative's collaborative mission

Maintain professional discretion: Keep confidential other members' business information, client details, and private discussions shared within the community

Protect your own information: Community membership does not create confidentiality protections for what you share - only share what you're comfortable discussing in a professional community

Follow community standards: No harassment, discrimination, or conduct that harms the cooperative or its members (Code of Conduct)

Participate constructively: Engage in good faith when you choose to participate in activities
Intellectual Property
- You own all your existing intellectual property
- You own intellectual property you create independently
- Community Members have no obligation to assign IP to the cooperative
- Separate agreements required for any collaborative projects or use of cooperative resources
Important Limitations
- No access to proprietary cooperative intellectual property
- Limited voting rights (community-designated matters only)
- Community membership does not automatically include financial returns or profit distributions
- Membership may be terminated for violations of these terms
Key Details
- This is an experimental organization - our policies will evolve based on experience
- Minimum participation, including dues, may be required to maintain membership status
- Community membership renews annually
- This agreement is governed by Colorado law and the Cooperative's Bylaws
- Disputes are handled through cooperative procedures outlined in our governance documents
- You can end your membership anytime by providing written notice
- Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle your information
- We will communicate with you at the email address you provided
By joining as a Community Member, you agree to:
- The Community Member Agreement, Code of Conduct, and Privacy Policy
- That you understand this is an experimental cooperative with evolving policies
