Code of Conduct

Our Approach

We're building a collaborative community where we want all of our members to contribute effectively. Here's what we expect from all members.

The Basics

Be kind. Treat people well, listen to different perspectives, and give credit where it's due.

Communicate clearly. Ask questions, share knowledge, and offer helpful feedback. We're all here to learn and grow.

Work together. Support each other's success, follow through on what you commit to, and respect people's time and boundaries.

Keep it professional. Respect confidentiality, honor intellectual property, and represent our community well.

Accept people's decisions. We're all here by choice. If someone says something you don't agree with, just respect it and move on—no drama needed.

Keep your eyes on the prize. We are in unprecedented territory for opportunity, and we have explicit goals of achieving novel outcomes. While we expect comraderie and want you to establish deeply meaningful relationships, this isn't a social organization. The emerging edge is a fragile head space. We're aiming high, and we need peers who can meet the moment.

What Doesn't Fly

We don't tolerate harassment, personal attacks, sharing confidential info without permission, disrupting community activities, or behavior that makes people uncomfortable. We're here to discover emerging opportunities and build things together, not test conflict. That said, we're not here to referee every disagreement; we expect members to work through or move past minor issues professionally. Our aspirations don't have space for lesser drama. If you're adding friction to the community, we'll address it.

When Things Go Sideways

Got an issue? Talk directly with the person if it feels safe and appropriate. For bigger problems or when that doesn't work, contact conduct@brainwavecollective.ai. We'll do our best to handle things fairly and keep the community healthy.
